CareHaven Connect is not a hospital, clinic, physician practice, health insurer, or other

HIPAA-covered entity, and it is not intended to operate as a HIPAA-compliant medical

record system. CareHaven Connect is generally not regulated by HIPAA, and

information entered into the app may not be treated as “Protected Health Information”

(PHI) under HIPAA. You understand and agree that you are solely responsible for the

information you choose to upload, store, or share through the app, including ensuring

you have appropriate consent or legal authority to share information about any loved

one.
